KAMPALA- A group of members of Parliament led by the Lwemiyaga County Legislator Hon. Theodore ssekikubo, who were seeking to censure the four parliamentary commissioners over service award, has rejected Speaker Anita Among’s decision not to include their motion on the order paper, stressing that their motion had other issues of wasteful expenditure.

The group told the media at Parliament on Monday that they have written to the speaker explaining that though court ruled on the service award, their motion had many issues including misconduct of the commissioners and mismanagement of funds at Parliament which they wanted debated.

Ssekikubo said that they still need their motion debated so that the accused commissioners give defense on their misconduct.

The Legislator added that adjourning Parliament to Gulu district for Regional sitting is one way of avoiding the MPs effort to have their motion debated.
