The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has unveils plans to establish food value chain industrial park in Hoima district in addition to the already planned industrial park for petroleum products.

President Museveni’s noted that the move is intended to integrate more people into wealth creation and production through industrialization as proven in the already established individual parks in other parts of the country that include Namanve, Mbale, Mukono, Kapeeka and others.

While campaign at a rally in Hoima City yesterday, President Museveni guided the people of Hoima on the vast job opportunity sectors currently implemented and those planned for scale up by the NRM government in the next term of office.

President Museveni said that the current oil operations in the Albertine graben constitute only 40% of Uganda’s oil reserves and more oil fields in areas along Lake George, Edward, Karamoja and Kyankwazi district are yet to be exploited.

He noted that Uganda’s oil exploitation program is strictly aligned to investment in long lasting infrastructure and skills enhancement for the people to further the country’s development like is the case for developed countries.

President Museveni explained how the strategic investment of Uganda’s oil proceeds will spur the anticipated development as partially witnessed in Hoima and the districts in the Albertine graben.

President Museveni has guided the people of Hoima district and City to embrace proper commercial enterprise selection approaches for real wealth creation at individual and household levels.

President Museveni listed the viable commercial enterprises including poultry, fruit growing, fish farming, piggery, diary farming among others he has exhibited at the NRM presidential campaign rally in Hoima City .

The President guided the people of Hoima district and City on sustainable land utilisation for wealth creation programs at small and large scale with examples of several wealth creation success stories.

He asked the electorate of Hoima district and City to assess the NRM government by its scorecard in key infrastructural developments and socioeconomic transformation caused by the NRM government in their area.

He highlights the first class tarmac roads, electricity distribution, telecommunication services, health and education programs, wealth creation interventions among other contributions made by the NRM government to Hoima district and City at large upon which he seeks re-election to further more of the same.

President Museveni assured the people of Hoima District of plans to elevate Kigolobya Health Center IV to a district General hospital, upgrade Buseruka Health Center III to IV and other major health center upgrades for the district in his next term of office and asked them to vote NRM massively.
