NEWS- The Police of Mbarara City North Division together with the Flying Squad Unit have on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 successfully tracked and recovered Musika Ayan Male juvenile aged 4 months, son of Namatovu Sifa and Bombo Bruhan residents of Rwebihuro cell Rwimigina ward Mbarara City from Kagaga parish Ngarama Sub county in Isingiro District.
The victim was yesterday stolen from the caretaker while the mother was working in Koranorya Market where she is a vendor.
Rwizi Region Police Spokesman Samson Kasasira identified the suspect as Aineamani Mackline a female adult aged 22 years who tricked the caretaker to go buy her yoghurt and on coming back the suspect had vanished with the victim.
Kasasira told journalists that Police ably tracked the suspect and apprehend her in Isingiro District where she had allegedly taken the baby to her husband as their own.
The victim has been reunited with the mother members of the public have been cautioned to be very vigilant with the movements of their children and those around them.
