The Police in Kabale District are hunting for a suspect who allegedly stabbed to death a female adult, whose particulars are still disputed to be Orishaba Allen or not since no more identification was found on her.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate told journalists that the incident occurred last night at unknown time at Cheers Pub and Accommodation Kabale, behind former Equity Bank building in Central East cell in Central Division in Kabale Municipality.
It’s alleged that the deceased is said to have gone to the said Lodge with a man friend, requested for a room and were registered as Orishaba Allen which we can’t tell whether they are her real name and Andy Julius respectively, claimed to be from Katuna.
The lodge attendant, while doing her normal routine cleaning today morning pushed the door found the life less body of the deceased in a pool of blood on the bed, with four Sharp stabbing cut injuries on the chest and on the stomach, with a knife abandoned on her left side.
Maate explained that she immediately informed the Manager who reported the issue at Kabale Central Police Station and detectives visited the scene of crime, processed and documented and an exhibits of the knife, an unused testing kits of HIV/ syphilis and syringe were recovered and the body was retrieved and conveyed to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examination.
Maate has appealed to anyone missing a dear one should visit the hospital mortuary so that is identified and taken for a decent burial and whoever may be having information pertaining to her death, should volunteer it to the Police, so that the culprit is brought to book.
