Op-Ed- Appreciation Message to H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda,
We, the people of Kayunga District, express our heartfelt gratitude for the launch of the Mengo Presidential Skilling Hub in Gangama in Kayunga district. Your vision to empower the youth and fight poverty and unemployment is truly commendable. We appreciate your efforts to provide us with this incredible opportunity to acquire skills and improve our lives. Thank you for your tireless efforts to develop our community. We are forever grateful your Excellency.
Mengo Presidential Industrial hub in Kayunga graduated students in vocational skilling. The event was graced by Minister Balaam as guest of Honour and was attended by political leaders, parents, students and well-wishers. As the NRM Flag bearer for woman MP Kayunga, I attended and I was humbled to address the congregation which was humbled with the project.
In this regard I further want to appreciate H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for being a visionary leader and fully supporting this great initiative that has seen 19 Industrial hubs constructed all over the country as well as skilling thousands at no cost to help youth in dealing with unemployment and poverty.
In the same regard I want to thank the Office of the NRM National Chairman led by Hajat Namyalo Hadijah for mobilizing people to participate in the ceremony .I also thank the NRM Secretariat for promoting the vision of the president but in the same spirit, I congratulate the state house comptroller madam Jane barekye for dedicating resources to actuallise the presidential industrial skilling program.
For purposes of clarity, let me to point out the Benefits of Mengo Presidential Industrial Hub to the people of Kayunga:
The hub provides skills training to the youth, enabling them to become self-employed and employ others, reducing poverty and unemployment.
The hub stimulates economic growth in Kayunga District by promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation.
By acquiring new skills, individuals can improve their livelihoods and contribute to the development of their families and communities.
The hub promotes industrial development in the district, enhancing the district’s reputation as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The hub creates new opportunities for the people of Kayunga, enabling them to compete favorably with others in the country and globally.
The hub contributes to the development of the community, fostering a culture of hard work, innovation, and self-reliance.
The hub provides opportunities for young people to develop their skills locally, reducing the likelihood of brain drain and retaining talent in the district.
Once more on behalf of the people of Kayunga, I extend our gratitude to the Office of the NRM National Chairman, State House Presidential Industrial Hub, and NRM Secretariat for their support in making this project a success.
