The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, on Friday afternoon arrived in the Diocese of Kinkizi, Kanungu District to preside over 25th wedding anniversary celebrations of the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Dan Zoreka and Mama Flora Zoreka, which will take place today, Saturday 30th August 2025 at St Peter’s Cathedral Nyakatare in Kanungu District.
The Archbishop Kaziimba was warmly received on arrival by Bishop Dan Zoreka, Clergy and Christians. Among those present were Canon Frank Twine and his wife Canon Christine Twine, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Gad Ahimbisibwe Rugaju among others.
According to the Church of Uganda Communications Officer Sadiiki Adams Mugume, the Archbishop is expected to lead Sunday Service at St Andrew’s Kihihi Church of Uganda and conduct other ministerial obligations within the Diocese.
