The Ntungamo district woman MP Hon Joselyn Bata Kamateneti has challenged all members of parliament to always make reports and handover to their successors for the smooth transition of service delivery.
Hon Kamateneti stressed that it’s paramount and significant for the legislator after losing an elective position to concede the defeat and prepare a handover report such that the incoming legislator can accelerate the continuity of unfinished projects in the constituency.
Hon Kamateneti agitated for service delivery through transparency and accountability working for the constituents which will last for more generations instead of daily things.
She noted that many political leaders have a tendency of declining the election results, something that has crippled democracy and service delivery.
Hon Kamateneti noted that losing election doesn’t mean that one can’t serve people in other capacities saying that she is ready to support and work with the Namanya Viola Buruko Ntungamo district woman MP NRM flag to take the mantle from where she has reached.
She affirmed that she will continue with her projects until the end of her term and commended the people of Ntungamo district entrusting her with their votes.
