KAMPALA—  Health Care services are  on a steady growth – path as more professional and advanced players are  set to make  the sector better,  efficient with precise diagnosis and treatment.

In this  score,  Karis Medical one of the fast-rising  players in Uganda’s healthcare has launched big with the opening of the its  first medical centre at West Mall, Kyanja at the same time announced  plans of Karis  Hospital and Christian Nursing University  in Kasangati, Wakiso District.

The  state -of -the- art  facility will be a major milestone in its mission to transform healthcare delivery across Uganda and the region as a centre  of  excellence.

The  Medical Centre was  designed to provide both out -patient and general medical services, staffed with trained professionals offering compassionate,  and competent care. 

This is part of the  national roll-out plan that will see community-based Karis facilities established all over Uganda.

With focus and  the same time grounded in values of excellence, integrity, hospitality, and compassion, Karis Medical is spear-heading a new era of healthcare by investing in infrastructure, education, and accessibility.

With a grand  and bold vision,  Karis seeks to become a trusted partner in the health journey of individuals and families throughout the country.

It was revealed that  Karis Hospital in Gayaza Lutete, scheduled to open in 2027, will be a 125 bed modern hospital dedicated to the care of women and children, and will offer a broad range of general and specialist medical services. 

The master  plan  also includes a Christian Nursing University with a capacity to train 400 students, preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals with a foundation rooted in excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Speaking at the launch, Andy Agaba, founder, Karis Medical said that it is more than a construction site but a foundation  of hope, healing, and opportunity.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we also launch the first of many Karis Neighbourhood Medical Centres, beginning today with the Kyanja facility. Our goal is to bring quality healthcare closer to the people one community at a time. Today’s Thanksgiving event at the construction site in Kasangati brings together over 500 guests, including community leaders, partners, healthcare workers, and families, to celebrate the tangible progress made”. Agaba added.

There was also a;  ground site  tour to appreciate the  ongoing work, fun family activities, and a reaffirmation of Karis Medical’s commitment to delivering quality, affordable, and Christ-centered healthcare dedicated to serve the nation.
