NEWS– Hon Wilfred Niwagaba Rugamba’amazima, the Ndorwa East constituency MP, Hon Catherine Ndamira Atwakiire owabodingi, the Kabale district woman MP and Hon Nelson Nshangabasheija, the Kabale district chairman LC 5 joined hundreds of christians at Rwene primary School in Buhara Sub county at the first Mass and Thanksgiving of Rev Fr Christopher Niwagaba .
Rev Fr Christopher Niwagaba is one of the six deacons who were ordained priests last Sunday at Rushoroza cathedral BAAF grounds by Rt Rev Bp Callist Rubaramira the Bishop kabale diocese.
In the homily by Rev Fr Innocent Naturinda, the financial administrator Kabale diocese advised Fr Christopher Niwagaba to remain strong in God, and call Jesus Christ to lead you in your journey, sacrifice yourself wholeheartedly and give enough time to spreading the word of God.
Fr. Innocent also urged him to call for the intercession of mother Mary, through reciting the Rosary every day, praying for the Catholic Church, and make sure he defends the catholic faith.
Fr. Innocent also urged the Christians to pray for the priests as they meet many challenges and not to expect earthly things from them but blessings.
Hon Wilfred Niwagaba Rugamba’amazima, the Ndorwa East constituency MP congratulated Fr Christopher Niwagaba and hailed the locals along Rwene Kabahesi Nyacyoonga road for allowing their land to be used in the expansion of the road and called upon them to cooperate with them in making sure they construct a better standard road.
Hon Niwagaba called upon Fr. Christopher to preach the Gospel of Spiritual and physical wealth in Christians, and called upon him and the brother priests to always tell government leaders what to do and fight corruption starting from our homes.
Hon Wilfred Niwagaba also urged the priests to spread the Gospel on Mother Earth, educate the public how to conserve the environment as we have met different challenges in climate change caused by poor conservation of the environment.
Hon Catheline Ndamira Atwakiire owabodingi, the kabale district woman MP also congratulated Fr Christopher and called upon Christians to have something at home that generates income to the family.
“Together we can eradicate poverty, just rearing one pig may lead to poverty eradication”, Hon Catherine quoted.
Hon Catherine called upon Christians to embrace education to get a brighter future, through education, you can become a priest, through education you can become an MP among other benefits of education.
Hon. Nshangabasheija Nelson Baba Baba, the Kabale district governor congratulated Fr. Christopher Niwagaba and thanked him for patience during his journey and hailed the cooperation for development between Hon Wilfred Niwagaba Rugamba’amazima, the Ndorwa East constituency MP and Hon Catherine Ndamira Atwakiire owabodingi, the Kabale district woman MP.
Hon Wilfred Niwagaba was also thanked for 100 red coated iron sheets he recently donated to Rwene primary School.
Hon Nshangabasheija said that through their support, we have got many projects in the district through the Grants lobbied by Hon Catherine Ndamira and Hon Wilfred Niwagaba, and we are using these funds for roads where Rwene Kabahesi Nyacyoonga road is one of the beneficiaries, we have constructed many permanent bridges like Kigyera, kirimbe, Nyanja, kahondo, among others in Ndorwa East constituency.
