NEWS- The general public has been strongly warned and notified to be aware that property under contention is not on sale.

According to a notice that appeared in the New Vision of February 26th 2024 on page 15, MMAKS Advocates put it clear that the properties are subject to High Court Case No 18 of 2022, Kirima and Others Vs Hamlet Kabushenga.

MMAKS Advocates further informed the general public that there is a temporary injunction arising out of the suit pursuant to which Court ordered that the status quo in respect to all properties mentioned in the suit be maintained until the determination of the main suit now on going at the High Court Commercial Division.

The Law Firm, MMAKS Advocates, therefore has put it categorically clear that any person who purports to acquire any interest in the mentioned properties will do so at his own peril. 

According to the Notice, the properties mentioned include land and other assets of Great Lakes High School,  land and all other assets of Kirima Primary School, land and all other properties of Great Lakes Regional University.

Other properties include, Land all other properties of Mountain Gorilla Inn and Kazuru Lodges, land and all other properties of Chifcod Social Enterprises Ltd, land and other properties of Nyamirama, Rutenga and Nyakabungo Primary Schools.

MMAKS Advocates is representing Kirima Ltd which is contesting the ownership of the properties which Dr Hamlet Kabushenga claims.
