NEWS– The House of Bishops of the Church of Uganda sitting at Lweza Training and Conference Center has elected Rev Canon Wilson Kiseka as the new Bishop of Luwero Diocese and Rev Canon Alfred Muhoozi as the 3rd Bishop of North Ankole Diocese.
Accotding to a Press Statement issued by the Church of Uganda Provincial Secretary Rev Canon William Ongeng, the Rev Canon Muhoozi will be consecration and enthronement as Bishop on 26th May 2024 at Emmanuel Cathedral Rushere in Kiruhura District
Bishop Elect Muhoozi was born on 9th October 1972, and he is currently the Archdeacon of Kinoni Archdeaconry in North Ankole Diocese and he is married to Mrs Molly Muhoozi and God has blessed them with four children and two grandchildren.
On the other hand Rev Canon Wilson Kisekka, is the 4th Bishop Elect of Luwero Diocese and will be onsecration and enthronement on Sunday 24th March 2024 at St Mark Cathedral Luwero.
Bishop Elect Rev Canon Kiseka was born on 12th October 1970 and he is married to Mrs Racheal Milly Nakayanga and God has blessed them with Children.
