NTUNGAMO– Authorities at Itojo hospital in Ntungamo district are stuck with two unclaimed bodies.
According to the Ntungamo district communications officer Mr Anthony Kushaba, the two unclaimed bodies are male adults estimated to be between 30 to 40 years old are currently rotting in Itojo hospital mortuary pending relatives to claim them.
The deceased were involved in a fatal accident on Wednesday, 5th February 2025, at Abatanyata in Rubaare Town Council, Rushenyi county Ntungamo District. They were traveling on a motorcycle, registration number UFE 361S that crashed with motor vehicle registration number, UBH 322 W Toyota Hiace that was coming from Ntungamo heading to Kabale and the motorcycle was coming from Kabale at the time of accident.
Police attributed the accident to recklessly driving by the driver who is still on the run.

They added that if the two bodies remain unclaimed, the authorities will proceed with burial at the cemetery today, Monday 10th February 2025.
