Nibwami B Yosia the incumbent Kagadi district Chairperson has in the wee hours of Friday Morning been declared as the NRM Flag bearer on LCV Seat.

Ndibwami got 46,028 Votes making 40.4%, his closest rival Tumusiime Elly Guard got 34,528 Votes constituting 30.3%, Amara Peter Salongo garnered 29,848 Votes constituting 26.6% and Mugisa Peter Sebugwaho 3,543 Votes making 3.1%.

The winner was declared by Mbasima Patrick the Kagadi district NRM elections officer at URDT Malt- Purpose hall Talley Center in Kagadi town council Kagadi district.

In his remarks shortly after his declaration, Ndibwami commended the electorate and all his supporters for voting him massively to hold the party flag.

He says in his 2nd term, he will renovate and upgrade Kagadi general hospital to a referral status, complete the construction of the district administration block, rehabilitate roads, and improve the education sector, among others.

The NRM elections officer also declared District Councilors including Speaker Magezi Muwonge for Muhorro town council, Gahima Guard for Ruteete town council.

Others are Maniragaba Deo for Burora Sub county, Kyahurwa Arnest Kagadi town council, Katusabe Margret Lwanga for Kyensige town council & Sub County, Namukisa Oliver for Burora & Kyakabadima who passed through unopposed , Tumuhairwe Ruthia for Kanyabebe& Buhumuriro also unopposed, Atanansi Byensi for Kyensige Sub County unopposed among others from all the 35 administrative units.

Meanwhile, results for the women’s representative for Bwikara Sub-County yet to be declared by press time after reports of irregularities emerged.
