NEWS- Musician Edrisa Musuuza commonly known as Eddy Kenzo has come out to speak and thanked President Museveni for having trusted him after he was appointed a presidential advisor.
Kenzo who is also the president Uganda National Musicians Association Federation was appointed by President Museveni as the presidential advisor on creatives something that has sparked different opinions among Ugandans.
Below here we reproduce Eddy Kenzo’s message;
I thank H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for trusting me with the role of Senior Presidential Adviser on Creatives.
My passion for an inclusive industry has grown overtime with so much experience, hard work and dedication in the music sector.
As President UNMF,
I want to thank all the musicians from the different associations of sub-regions across the country for standing in unity for our common cause of fighting for what rightfully belongs to us.
We shall continue to call for unity regardless of all challenges until we achieve an industry that we and our children can proudly participate in.
As SPA on Creatives we shall add more vibrancy to Ugandan Art on the world market as we build more young talents to lift our flag even higher.
We also appreciate all the line Ministers Hon.Betty Amongi, Hon.Peace Mutuuzo,Hon.Nobert Mao,PSST Ramadhan Ggobi, URSB, other stakeholders and friends for all the support and guidance.
To my fans that have always supported me through my journey of 15 years and still standing, thank you so much for bringing hope in the lives of broken stories.
