NEWS– The Hon Minister for Gender Labour and Social Development Hon Betty Among and team paid a courtesy call to the Uganda Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the Minister interacted with the staff and the leadership of the Uganda community in Abu Dhabi.
Minister Among is on an official visit to meet her United Arab Emirates counterpart to discuss the operationalisation of the signed Memorundum of Understanding on labour cooperation as well as monitoring the welfare and working conditions of Ugandan migrant workers.
Minister Amongi meeting later held a meeting the United Arab Emirates Emirati Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation with whom they discussed bilateral issues relating to their respective countries.
