BUSHENYI – The police in Bushenyi district are investigating circumstances surrounding the mysterious death of a boda boda rider at GAZ Stage Ishaka.
The deceased is Naturinda Norman a resident of Ryamizingo village, Rushinya parish, Kakanju sub – county in Bushenyi district who was found lifeless on 13th February 2024.
Police got information from Nyabugaro John 64, the chairman Kyeitembe west village, Central division Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality that there was a body of a male person lying in eucalyptus tree plantation and they swang into action immediately.
Police visited the scene and found the body of Naturinda Norman dressed in a gray sweater and a blue jean with a strangulation mark only on the neck.
Its suspected the deceased was robbed of his motorcycle which he had just bought of the yet to be identified registration number. The body of the deceased was taken to Kampala International Hospital teaching hospital Ishaka mortuary pending postmortem examination.
The Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed this incident to this website stressing that inquiries into the matter are still at hand.
