NEWS- The Police in Kabale District are investigating the cruel and mysterious murder of Ndyebwooha Feredian, a resident of Bugarama village in Buhara Sub-county by unknown suspects with malice forethought.
Kigezi Region Police Spokesman Elly Maate told journalists that the deceased, who was staying alone was today morning found lying in a pool of blood in one of her bedrooms in her house by a resident called Ms Taremwa Meduis who informed the Area chairperson Tunjunohwa Erias went to the scene to confirm the incident and upon confirmation, went and reported the matter at Buhara Police station.
The area OC together with other officers upon getting the report, immediately booked out to the scene and after, alerted the District CID officer, who led a team of homicide detectives to the scene.
Maate said that a case file of murder was opened to investigate the alleged matter and the scene of crime was visited, examined and documented and relevant atatements were recorded from witnesses.
The body of the deceased was conveyed to Kabale Regional Referral hospital for postmortem examination and a suspected killer weapon with blood stains was recovered and exhibited to help in investigations.
Meanwhile the Police have appealed to the general public who could be having information leading to the arrest of the suspects to volunteer it to them so that the culprits are arrested and charged accordingly.
