NEWS– The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah on Saturday officiated the official opening of the undergoing transformational Leadership course for leaders at the National Leadership Training Institute Kyankwanzi.

On arrival the Premier was received by the Defence state minister incharge Veteran affairs Hellen Huda Aberson, State Minister for Bunyoro affairs Jenipher Namuyangu Kacha and a cross-section of MPs.

The Premier called upon participants to be role models for effective services.

The 11 day’s course expected to end on Saturday 7th September 2024 is organised by the Office of the Prime Minister in conjuction with Ministry of Local Government and Patriotism Secretariat.

The course has attracted over 1000 leaders from ten districts camped at the National Leadership Training Institute & Oliva Tambo training School Kaweweta respectively.

It is running under the theme “Enhancing Leaders’ Capacities in monitoring government Programmes to improve service delivery.

The Leaders include RDCs, LCV Chairpersons, members of the  district executive committee, District councillors, special interest group leaders ,NRM &LC3 Subcounty chairpersons.

These are from the districts of Yumbe, Kalungu, Gomba, Kibuku,Kibaale,Masaka, Mbarara,Kiboga, Nakasongola and Mbarara city.
