President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has applauded residents of Nansana Municipality and Wakiso district for their receptive uptake of Parish Development Model Initiative through which government has so far injected over Ugx 52 billion to over 47,000 households and promised to increase funding for the PDM initiative
The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate General noted that Parish Development Model funds are intended to reach households at the grassroot for capital to ignite wealth creation for all and has rallied resisdents of Nansana Municipality and entire Wakiso District to ensure full participation of parish Sacco PDM discussions for successful implementation of the PDM initiative as a landmark wealth creation initiative
While addressing a campaign rally at Kawanda Agriculture Research Institute Play Grounds in Nansana Municipality, President Museveni explained the long time of NRM wealth creation path since in 1997 to date and asked the electorate of Nansana Municipality and entire Wakiso District to vote for the NRM government for its strategic approach to their socioeconomic transformation.
Candidate Museveni guided the people of Nansana Municipality and Wakiso District at large on proper economic enterprise selection in the viable 4 sectors of wealth and job creation.
The 4 sectors including commercial agriculture through peri commercial agriculture including poultry, diary, fishing farming and others, Artisan and manufacturing, services sector and ICT.
The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate Museveni noted that the aforementioned Sectors have both wealth and job potential if implemented calculatively as guided in the NRM wealth creation manual and cites several examples for each sector
He therefore asked the electorate of Nansana Municipality and Wakiso District to foster continuouity of the NRM government by re-electing him in the forthcoming general elections and all NRM flag bearers for more wealth creation interventions and job opportunities ahead
While speaking at the same venue, the First Lady Maama Jannet Kataha Museveni said that Uganda is prepared for the Qualitative leap into the higher middle income Status nation founded on the already established stable foundation by the NRM government and has tasked the people of Nansana Municipality and Wakiso District at large to defend the gains by the government to their area by re-electing General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and all NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming general elections.
The NRM first National Vice Chairperson Alhaji Moses Kigongo commended the NRM fraternity in Nansana Municipality and the entire Wakiso District for unity and discipline in their campaign mobilisation programs as he asked them to intensify grassroot mobilization efforts for a consolidated win in the upcoming election.
The NRM second National Vice Chairperson female Rt Hon Anita Among listed several service delivery aspects that include markets, roads, wealth for youths among others and NRM hairperson for Wakiso District Moses Mayanja read the district memorandum to the President.
