NEWS- The Prime Minister Rt. Hon Nabbanja Robinah on Tuesday morning in Kyankwanzi officially opened a course for local government leaders that is ongoing at the National Leadership Training Institute.
The 14 days Transformational Leadership development course for councillors and NRM leaders has attracted over 400 leaders from the districts of Kassanda, Hoima, Mubende, Kyankwanzi, Kyegegwa, Kakumiro and Nakaseke.
The course is organised by the Office of the Prime Minister under the stewardship of Prime Minister Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah with guidance from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Several renowned scholars and tutors are scheduled to deliver lectures on ideology, political education, leadership philosophy, social systems among other important issues to widen the leaders’ thinking and decision making capabilities.
The course was requested by the local leaders during their interface with the Prime Minister during the farmers expo that were held in these respective districts last year.
