‎Rubaare secondary School in Rubaare town council, Rushenyi- Ntungamo District has excelled in 2025 UCE with good results, all passed in result one where all candidates qualify for UCE certificate.

‎The an exceptional performance placed the school among the top-performing secondary schools in the district. The outstanding performance sparked celebrations among students, parents, teachers, and the school administration where they took on Rubaare town council streets for procession celebrations.

‎According to the headteacher Rubaare secondary school Ms Mpeirwe Atukunda the results reflect consistent academic excellence built for the years.

‎Ms Monica Atukunda Mpeirwe attributed the remarkable achievement to the combined commitment of teachers, learners, and parents, noting that the school has maintained strong academic performance over the eligibility of teachers, good welfare and discipline of students. He emphasized disciplined teaching, regular assessments, and close monitoring of learners’ progress as key contributors to produce good results.

‎She also urged the teaching staff to maintain the good performance to attract more students.

‎The director of studies Mr Benon Bahikire  echoed the headteacher’s sentiment commenting that had it not been the commitment and combined efforts of teachers, parents and students they would register poor results but because of the commitment and combined efforts generated good results.

‎Of the 257 candidates sat for UCE 2025 exams all passed in result one.

‎Comparing the total number of candidates who sat  for 2024 UCE examinations, the year 2025 there was sharp increase in number where by 257 candidates sat for UCE examinations compared to 177 candidates in 2024.

‎The minister for education and sports, Janet Museveni while releasing the UCE results confirmed that the selection exercise for senior five students shall run from February 18 to February 19, 2026, and the first term for senior five will start on March 5th 2026.
