RUKUNGIRI- Muslims leaders in Rukungiri District  led by district Kadhi Sheik Abdulmalik Barugahaga Kayole have been urged to use the available land and engage in agriculture particularly coffee farming, as a reliable source of income to support their families and religious activities.

These remarks were made by the head of laity for Bugangari Archdeaconry, Mr Boaz Ruteera, a coffee farmer from Nyankoro Cell in Kashayo Parish, Bugangari Sub-county, during a field tour at his coffee and banana  plantations.

Ruteera urged Muslims and other farmers to focus on a single project instead of constantly shifting from one venture to another.

He emphasized the importance of taking necessary risks and utilizing available family land, regardless of its size, to start productive agricultural projects further urging them to utilize their available time.

He also encouraged Muslims to embrace unity and cooperation with people of other faiths, stating that development is best achieved through collective effort rather than religious division.
