Shock and grief have engulfed residents of Mairirwe Sub County in Kagadi district after a retired teacher committed suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Nzarwahabi Edward 53years,a retired teacher and resident of Omukiguli village Kayanja parish in Mairirwe Sub-County Kagadi district.
His lifeless body was found hanging in a jackfruit tree in the courtyard of his homestead.
According to Karukuhe John Baptist aka Musayimutabure the Mairirwe Sub-County LC3 chairperson confirmed the tragedy and condemned the act.
He appeals to the public to always share their challenges with political and religious leaders for cancelling and guidance.

The Mpeefu ya Sande town council Lc3 chairperson and a brother to the deceased Nkwasibwe Robert Birahuri, confirmed the death of the deceased, saying circumstances surrounding the suicide are still mysterious.
He says they are organizing a family meeting to assess and resolve the conflicts putting the family members on tension.

By press time, Kagadi police was yet to make a statement on the tragic incident, but burial arrangements were proceeding.
