NEWS– Vendors at Kidodo Market in Central Division Kasese Municipality have a reason to smile after Mr. Livingstone Kato Zunkuka donated to them two solar lights worthy one million to boast the facilities security through giving light.
While delivering the donation, Mr. Kato noted that such a facility which aims at providing services to the community needs to be supported by leaders since it also enhances the government revenue through local revenue collections.
Mr. Kato the Central Division LCIII chairperson hopeful for National Unity Platform noted that, his donation was one way of giving back to the community.
Mr. Moses Muhindo the Kidodo Market Committee secretary appreciated the donation and called upon other leaders to support the market for development.
Some of the Venders including Ms. Agnes Kabugho and Loice Biira who thanked Mr. Kato also reported a challenge of lack of toilets in the market, they also lack where to put garbage which they think may affect their health and the facilities sanitation.
