NEWS- Byamugisha David the former Headteacher Kigezi High School primary lower called upon teachers to be disciplined, live exemplary lives, work hard and put God first in everything if they are to succeed in their profession.
Byamugisha made this call during his farewell party as he was retiring from the service and thanksgiving ceremony for the good 2023 PLE results which was held in the school main hall.
Byamugisha said that his discipline and hard work are the ones that enabled him to succeed in his career for the past 36 years that he spent in service and called upon the public to emulate the same if they are to succeed in the field.
He on a special note thanked the almighty who enabled him to work up to his retirement and promised to always worship and praise him saying that without God, he was not going to manage.
He thanked the pupils and teachers for always working hard and producing good results stressing that as a teacher, his main role was to have good grades adding that God has been on his side hence enabling him to achieve that in all schools he served in.
In his message which was read by Tumwine Joseph Chaka, Hon Andrew Baryanga Aja the chairman Kigezi High School primary lower old student’s association thanked Mr. Byamugisha for the good work done at their school both in academics and discipline of both teachers and learners narrating that for the years he spent their, Kigezi lower Primary School has been in the records of good performance in the whole of Kabale municipality stressing that as old students, they are proud of him.
He called upon the incoming head teacher to do the same saying that old learners are very ready to work with him or her.
He also congratulated their candidates, teachers and parents for the good performance in PLE of 2023 saying that Kigezi High School primary was ranked among the best fifteen UPE schools in Kabale district.
