Young people are the architects of the future, building the society they will inherit and from activism to innovation, we are the driving force behind change.
Yet, despite our undeniable influence, we remain underrepresented in politics, too often, policies fail to address our unique challenges and aspirations, It’s time for a shift.
When we vote, we aren’t just shaping our future—we’re defining it. This is our time to step into leadership and demand policies that reflect our vision.
The Need for Youth Representation, youth aren’t just the future—they are the present and as the largest and most dynamic demographic, we face issues such as student debt, unemployment, mental health struggles, and climate change.
These concerns need urgent solutions that reflect the reality of today’s world, without our voice in politics, we risk inheriting outdated policies that fail to meet our needs.
A Vision for Youth-Led Change
As a candidate for Western Region Youth MP, my vision is clear, a political system that prioritizes youth and empowers us to lead and here’s how I plan to make a real impact:
• Education Reform: Push for accessible and affordable education that equips us for the future.
• Job Creation & Entrepreneurship: Drive initiatives to foster youth employment, advocate for more skilling hubs to empower more young people with technical skills ,Nurture more youth to get into the money economy and support youth-led startups.
• Mental Health Advocacy: Prioritize mental health resources and reduce stigma so all young people have the support they need.
• Climate Action: Champion bold policies to safeguard our planet for future generations.
• Inclusive Representation: Advocate for equal opportunities for every young person, regardless of background.
Now is the time for youth to rise. Together, let’s create a future where we are not only heard but lead.
