NEWS– Two people are reported to have died on spot in an accident that occured this afternoon in along the Ntungamo-Mbarara road.
The accident according to eyewitnesses happened on Sunday afternoon involving a Toyota Forester UBN 375Q and a Toyota Hiace drone registration number UBP 314A.
It’s said that the Toyota Hiace was headed to Mbarara from Rukungiri as the Forester was heading towards the opposite direction when the crash happened.
The two who died on spot are said to be occupants of the Toyota Forester who were yet to be identified by press time.
The taxi driver Mujurizi Herbert aka Rough is said to have survived with broken, numerous passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Itojo hospital for medical attention.
By press time, Police was yet to issue a statement about the fatal crash, we shall keep you posted with details as they unfold.
