The Police in Kabale District are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 30 year old man identified as Mugisha Remegio Katoote a resident of Nyakatojo Village in Kanjobe Parish in Kyanamira Sub-county.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate has confirmed the incident and said that the deceased lifeless body was discovered today morning lying with a deep stab wound on the neck along the road to Burambira in Kaharo Sub-county, suspected to have been killed.
Maate explained that after the discovery of the dead body, a report was made at Kyanamira Police Station by the area chairperson Bakesigaki Alex, the scene was visited, processed and documented and the body was taken to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem.
Maate said that investigations are going on and anyone with information that can lead to the suspected killers of Mugisha should volunteer it so that they are brought to arrested and answer charges of murder accordingly.
