Kyabenda Senior Secondary School in Kamwenge District has done it again after all their S.4 students passed with As, Bs, Cs and Ds only in the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education examinations.
The Headteacher, Yafesi Karuhogo Ntungwa told journalists all the students are eligible to get Certificates and no one shall repeat the year as it is now a requirement.
Karuhogo disclosed that the school performed well in the Uganda Certificate of Education examinations and it has 7 As, 351 Bs, 1435 Cs and 500 Ds and O Es which ranked the school one of the best performing schools in Kamwenge District and Western Uganda.
Some of the students who excelled at Kyabenda Senior Secondary School include Kirungi Susan, Mwine Trust, Ninsiima Joshua, Ntarikutimana Proscivia, Nasasira Ronald, Miracle Christian Brennah, Mukwenda Robert, Ajuna Vincent, Muhindo Jodras and Mugumya Ronious.
Kyabenda Senior Secondary School is found in Kamwenge District and it’s a Day and Boarding Mixed O and A Level with a total student population of 1,289 students as of December 2025.
