The Police in Rubanda District have registered a fatal road accident that claimed life of a 28 year old man identified as Tumwesigye Vianne, a boda boda rider and resident of Mivune village in Rubanda Town Council Rubanda.
Outgoing Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate confirmed tje accident and said thst thecdeceased is alleged to have been knocked by rear end of a Bus registration number UBF 667G belonging to Jaguar company

Maate told journalists last evening that the accident took place at Hisensero village Muko Sub-county along Kabale – Kisoro highway, yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was riding Motorcycle registration number UFP 385F and was facing the same direction from Kisoro towards Kabale and because of speed failed to negotiate a sharp corner at Hisensero village and headed up knocking the rear end of the bus and died instantly.
Maate explained that the scene was visited and documented and both the Bus and the motorcycle were driven to Rubanda Police Station pending inspection and the body of the deceased was taken to Muko Health Centre IV Mortuary for postmortem examination as investigations continue.
