KAMPALA- Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has this evening arrived in Uganda for the official visit that ends on 24th February 2025.
Prime Minister Golovchenko, was received this evening at Entebbe International airport by Uganda’s Prime Minister and Leader of government business Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja
During his visit to Uganda, Golovchenko will have a one-on-one meeting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, while members of Belarus’ official delegation will hold talks with their Ugandan counterparts.
According to Rt Hon Nabbanja, Belarus and Uganda have since October 2nd 1998 maintained diplomatic relations, with a focus on expanding economic cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector, and are working to develop a legal framework for further collaboration through agreements in areas like education, trade and military cooperation.
It is reported that several Memorundums of Understanding to further strengthen collaboration will be signed at the conclusion of the bilateral talks between representatives of Uganda and Belarus.
