The Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner Stephen Nsubuga Bewayo has been transferred after his four years and two months tour of duty in Rukungiri District.
Bewayo will now head to Pakwach where he will now take on fresh appointments. In this evening’s memo, Bewayo was grateful to the people of Rukungiri for the cooperation he has enjoyed and asked residents to accord the same to the one incoming.
Sources from within corners of power told our reporter that Stephen Asiimwe from Kabarole will take on from Bewayo as Rukungiri RDC.
