The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja has met with the President of Turkmenistan His Excellency Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ongoing 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked developing countries taking place in the city of Awaza in Turkmenistan.
The two discussed bilateral relations between Uganda and Turkmenistan with an emphasis on developing the oil and gas sector.
Turkmenistan country is a major natural gas producer and exporter, with a growing focus on expanding oil and gas processing and petrochemical production.
