President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is the National Resistance Movement party flagbearer has told the people of Manafwa District that he is presenting the NRM Manifesto for 2026–2031, which highlights the seven major contributions made in Uganda and Africa over the last 40 years.
The President thanked God who saved his life in 1973 when two of his colleagues were shot dead in Mbale at Maumbe Mukwana residence which was the beginning of the struggle that brought peace, development and wealth creation, the country is currently celebrating
The President pointed out that peace was not easy to achieve, but it was built by valuing every Ugandan, regardless of tribe, religion, or gender and under the NRM, Uganda now enjoys peace, good roads, electricity, clean water, and schools.
He said that in Manafwa, 96% of villages have safe water, and the government is upgrading Health Centres and schools to reach every community and wealth creation and jobs remain our focus through programs like the four-acre model.
He unpacked the NRM manifesto before the crowd, showcasing regional progress in infrastructure, education, safe water, and electricity coverage, while acknowledging remaining challenges.
In Bulambuli District the National Resistance Movement party supporters welcomed the NRM Presidential flag bearer Yoweri Museveni and his entourage to Nabbonga playgrounds as the he continued spreading the wealth creation massage to the grassroots.
