Twenty senior officers from the Uganda Prisons Service, led by Senior Commissioner of Prisons Wilson Magomu and deputized by the Prisons Spokesperson Frank Baine have concluded a high-level two-day Master Class on Culture Change in the Public Sector held at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
The training waa organized by Motivation Hub Limited in partnership with the Ministry of Public Service and brought together leaders from all Ministries, Departments, and Government Agencies.
The training workshop was organised under the theme: “Making Culture Change Work in the Public Sector – Step-by-Step Processes, Frameworks, Tools, Case Studies, and Global Best Practices.”
Key focus areas included building performance-driven and accountable organizational cultures, enhancing service delivery standards, instilling urgency and excellence in strategy execution and leveraging leadership, values and vision to drive sustainable transformation.
The delegation actively participated in discussions aimed at fostering a citizen-centered, results-oriented public service.
The engagement highlights the Service’s commitment to aligning with national priorities for continuous institutional improvement and efficient utilization of public resources.
The Master Class is part of broader government efforts to cultivate an adaptive and responsive public sector capable of accelerating Uganda’s development agenda.
