The donation includes state-of-the-art medical devices such as fetal monitors, baby incubators, delivery beds, and neonatal resuscitation equipment.

These tools are crucial in providing timely and effective care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

“The Bank of Uganda’s support enables the Health Centre to deliver high-quality maternal and neonatal care right here, sparing expectant mothers the need to travel for essential services, said Michael Atingi-Ego, Deputy Governor of Bank of Uganda.

Atingi-Ego added that through these contributions the Bank of Uganda is investing in the health, stability, and resilience of this community for years to come.

Rwoburunga Health Centre III serves a population that often faces barriers to healthcare, including distance from urban centers and limited resources.

With this donation, the center will be better equipped to handle emergencies, conduct routine check-ups, and provide comprehensive maternal and child health services.
