The question of Israel’s security is not simply political—it is existential. The state of Israel deserves protection, not only because of its right to exist, but because of its enduring contribution to regional stability and global progress.

Below are twelve crucial points that, in my view, must guide how the world understands this conflict and responds to it.

1) Israel’s existence must be fully recognized

We must clearly acknowledge the reality of Israel as a sovereign state. Israel is important and fundamental in global affairs, and it has played a significant role in helping make the world a safer and better place to live.

2) Israel must be able to defend its sovereignty

Israel has the right to defend itself. It must be supported as it protects its sovereignty and works to stop threats that endanger its people’s existence and fundamental rights.

3) Israel has faced repeated violence, hatred, and terror

Since the declaration of Israel’s independence on 14 May 1948, the country has repeatedly faced smear campaigns, hatred, and attacks against innocent people. The atrocities carried out on 7 October 2023, when Hamas massacred over 1,200 unarmed civilians, must never be forgotten—and must never be repeated.

4) The genocide narrative is misinformation and defamation

A serious concern is the spread of false accusations that Israel is committing genocide against Gaza’s civilian population.

Before military operations, Israel has repeatedly issued warnings to civilians through messages and calls, urging people to leave dangerous areas. Meanwhile, Hamas is widely accused of using civilians as shields—turning human lives into bargaining chips. That responsibility cannot be erased.

5) Israel drives innovation and scientific advancement

Israel has served as a pivot for global development. Through scientific knowledge, technology, and innovation, it has improved human lives and created economic benefits that extend far beyond its borders.

6) Israel contributes to regional protection and stability

Israel has also worked—directly and indirectly—with peace-seeking partners in the Middle East, including Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and others, to promote stability and protect human dignity in the region. In a volatile area, stability matters—and Israel’s stability is paramount.

7) Israel’s existence is non-negotiable

Israel’s existence is not subject to approval or erasure by enemies. Attacking Israel is not just an attack on territory—it is an attack on a democratic state and its people. Israel is home to a diverse society, and it continues to stand for peace-loving values.

8) Respect for leadership and commitment to protection

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has shown leadership under extreme pressure and danger. He should be treated with respect, and the international community should recognize that real leadership in crisis involves defending lives, property, and national security.

9) The world must help dismantle terrorism

Israel cannot be safe if terrorism remains active. The international community should come together to dismantle terrorist threats—particularly Hamas—so that peace, stability, and tranquility can thrive.

10) Leadership under difficult times must be supported

Israel’s leadership—led by its Prime Minister—has demonstrated resolve and determination during complex and dangerous circumstances. God bless and protect those working to ensure Israeli security.

11) A population decline claim contradicts “indiscriminate killing” narratives

A central question arises: if the claim is that Israel is killing people indiscriminately, why does the population not match that narrative?

Publicly stated figures suggest that Gaza’s population has remained around 2.1–2.23 million in recent years, while some 254,000 people reportedly fled or migrated to neighboring countries. These realities challenge the most extreme “genocide” talking points and support the need for more careful, factual analysis of what is actually happening.

12) Israel is fighting for a just security objective

Ultimately, Israel is engaged in a war against terrorism. The goal is not the destruction of civilians, but the elimination of terrorist capacity so that Israelis—and civilians elsewhere—can live in peace.
