The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka has asked students in all institutions of learning to be patient and remain disciplines as they pursues their lifetime careers.
Bishop Zoreka made the remarks on Friday while presiding over the function to commission the newly constructed Boys Dormitory at Kinkizi High School Nyakatare which is expected to accommodate over 450 students also confirmed 32 students into the Anglican Faith.
Bishop Zoreka made it categorically clear that patience leads to successful life and asked the students at Kinkizi High School Nyakatare not to be tempted to indulge into activities that will divert their attention.
He said that people reap what they sow and therefore they should remain focused in whatever they attempt to do especially in pursuing their lifetime careers.
The main preacher Rev Ampumuza Kyomugasho implored the students to do whatever they do in love of God by loving their school, church and parents which will help them defend their future undertakings.
The Dustrict Education Officer Shaban Adam implored the students to remain humble especially now when they are preparing for the end of term and end of year examinations so that their long life dream keep alive.
The Headteacher Rev Emmanuel Mutabaazi said that the school which has a total 1,125 students has registered a lot of achievements including the construction of the new boys Dormitory which will accommodate a total of 450 students at a cost of Ugx 180 million.
Rev Mutabazi thanked all the stakeholders who included the District Education Officer Shaban Adam and the Board of Governors represented by the Vice Chairperson Goddie Willy Bakiga for guiding the school to its success both in academics and extra co-curricular activities.
Headteacher Mutabazi said that the school has strengthened the students spiritual life through holding church services led by the Chaplain Rev Norah Ainomugisha where students get regular fellowships, students led worships sessions and teacher devotions which have helped them.
He also highlighted that the Old Students Association has come out strongly to support the school by contributing both financially and morally to the growth of the school which encouraged the continuing students to work harder.
In maintaining a clean, secure and vibrant learning environment, Kinkizi High School has maintained a good relationship with the mother church which reflect commitment to nurturing a complete academic, spiritual, social and moral uplight students.
Nonetheless, the school lacks facilities to accommodate the ever increasing number of students and this calls for concerted effors from all stakeholders to ensure that these facilities which include a dinning hall, toilets, and Dormitories are increased.
The event was attended by Headteachers from various Secondary schools from Kanungu District most of whom are former teachers or students.
