The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, the Rt Rev Dan Zoreka has today confirmed 69 Christians in the Anglican faith in a colourful service held at St Peters CoU Rugando in Kayonza Archdeaconary, Diocese of Kinkiizi during the ongoing farewell visits which started in mid-July across all parishes in the Diocese.
Bishop Zoreka is expected to end his episcopal leadership on the 30th of May 2027 and in his farewell message Bishop Zoreka discouraged the clergy upon looking at them selves as candidates saying this is one of the reasons that leads to confusion among both the clergy and laity after election of the new Bishop.
Before confirming candidates, he challenged them to put into action what they learnt especially how to live well with their neighbours and he challenged Christians saying that most wrong doers are confirmed Christian.
In the same service, two Christians Dr Twebaze James a retired medical officer and His brother Milton Baryayanga were joyful welcome back in the Anglican faith after over ten years wandering as they had joined the faith of Unity commonly known as Bishaka.

In his words the Bishop expressed pleasure of welcoming back Dr Twebaxe who worked closely with him in the early stages of development of Bwindi community hospital as a clinicial officer while the Bishop was still the diocesan health coordinator.
Dr Twebaze expressed gratitude of coming back to his home church while Bishop Dan is still in active service and the two promised to start from where the stopped from in developing the church.
