Rukungiri district is currently buzzing with political activity as aspiring candidates from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) receive their nomination forms for the upcoming elections. The nomination process, which began on June 2, 2025, is set to run until June 15, 2025, at the NRM offices located along Karegyesa road in Rukungiri municipality.
