JINJA – Police in Jinja has on Wednesday Feb 26th arrested the self styled people’s president and the former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party president Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye and blocked his planned meeting in the area.
Dr. Besigye is on a nationwide transverse in consultation for the forthcoming 2021 general elections.
His arrest comes just hours after his release after police arrested him in Buikwe district yesterday.
