RUBIRIZI- Rugazi Catholic Parish Priest Reverend Father Alphonse Mukundane has transferred at least 12 out of 30 catechists in the parish to new working centres.
Reverend Father Alphonse Mukundane announced this over the weekend stressing that the transfers take immediate effect.
The Head of catechists John Baptist Tinkasiire was transferred from Rugazi A Catholic center to Butoha Catholic Center.
Niwamanya Felix was transferred from Kabukwiri to Nyangorogoro Catholic Center, then Tumusiime Fredrick from Butoha to Ndekye Catholic Center.

5.Kabagambe Evaristo from Nyangorogoro – Kabukwiri
6. Aventino Bangaya from Nyakatanda – Kabirizi Church Buzenga
7. Oliva Karagara Buhingo Catholic Church
8. Twine Sebastian from St Jude – Rugazi A
9. Ngayira Francis from Buzenga – Butoha
10. Jane Scovia Nakabugo from St Bakita – Busonga
11. Guma Emmanuel Busonga – St Bakita
12. Bagamba Deusdedit from Rugazi B to chaplain in charge of all schools in the Rugazi Catholic Parish.
Reverend Father Alphonse Mukundane also made three new appointments in the parish including Kamurikarungi Stella who was posted to Rugazi B as a catechist.
Others are Tumusiime Caroline who was posted to Nyakatanda Catholic Parish and Muhumuza Gatride to St Peters Church Buzenga. Paskari Tumwesigye of Magogo was retired and replaced by Muhumuza John.
