Kebisoni Tukundane Association a WhatsApp group that brings together people from Greater Kebisoni has capped the year 2025 with a sporting event with an aim of promoting football talent for the youth in the Area.
The Group Chairperson Emmy Mugagga Kakyende implored the youth to take advantage of the sports development programme to show their talent which may turn into a career development.
Mugagga who was accompanied by his entire Executive led by tge Vice Chairperson who is also Rukungiri NRM Secretary General Paul Rukundo, observed that football is a fast developing sport across the world with benefits of employment which the youth must take seriously.
During the sports gala that took place at Kebisoni Town Council Playgrounds, Mabanga FC from Kebisoni Sub-county was crowned the winner and took the trophy after defeating Kebisoni Town Council FC with 5 goals to 4 on penalty shoot outs.
After the sports gala, Kebisoni Tukundane Association inspected the Solar Powered street lights that members donated to light several spots in Kebisoni Town Council as a Corporate Social Responsibility and Mugagga thanked the members who have cooperated in mobilising funds to ensure that the Project becomes a success.
Mugagga urged Kebisoni residents to join the the WhatsApp Group which he said is currently fully registered at with Rukungiri District Local Government as a non partisan and non profit Community Based Organisation which is focused on promoting development in the area.
With a total of more than 670 members, Kebisoni Tukundane Association (KTA) primary objective is to support members welfare in times of need and has so far provided support to several members in times of grief, medical and happiness.
