The Police in Kisoro District are hunting for a woman identified as Juliet Nyiraguhirwe, a resident of Gasenyi village Mabungo Parish in Nyarusiza Sub county for allegedly for the murder of her husband Bosco Rurakabije.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate has confirmed the incident and said it took place today morning when the deceased returned home drunk and started exchanging words with the wife in the presence of their son one Irakiza Fabiano.
It is reported that tje deceased got a knife and attempted to stub the wife but she over powered him and she grabbed it from him and stabbed him twice on the back and she ran away from home to an unknown location.
The report was made at the Police by the area chairperson Venansi Munyanganizi, the and the scene of crime was visited and well documented and the exhibits of the knife and a slasher were recovered from the scene and the body was conveyed to Kisoro General Hospital for postmortem examination.
