KABALE- The State Minister for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, Hon. David Bahati, has called on the youth to embrace faithfulness and accountability if they are to build a resourceful community.
This was contained in his speech delivered today by Can. Enock Kazooba, Mayor of Ryakarimira Town Council, at the annual youth and student’s conference of Rukore Archdeaconry in Ryakarimira Town Council, Kabale District.
In his speech, Minister Bahati emphasized the importance of faithfulness to God, to one’s parents, and to leaders, underscoring its vital connection to prosperity.
He stated that such commitment forms the foundation for personal growth and societal well-being, noting that faithfulness is not just a virtue but a pathway to true success. He urged the youth to embrace integrity in all aspects of their lives.
Minister Bahati, who also serves as the Ndorwa West County legislator, reminded the youth to prioritize their physical and spiritual well-being, urging them to treat their bodies as temples of God.
He also encouraged them to leverage government initiatives, such as the Youth Livelihood Program and the Parish Development Model, to enhance their incomes and improve household development.
