KAMPALA- The case of the 36 Forum for Democratic Change FDC activists has further been adjourned.
The was on Monday 26th August 2024 adjourned to 11th September 2024 by the Nakawa chief Magistrate’s court
The court session was attended by several leaders from different opposition political parties, family members and activists to stand in solidarity with the 36 FDC leaders and activists.
The said 36 FDC activists were recently picked up from Kisumu – Kenya and eventually charged with terrorism.
The case was adjourned because the trial Magistrate is on leave and the state claimed that investigations are not yet complete.
The court witnessed yet another protest as leaders , family members and other activists protested what they termed violation of their rights as the charged and remanded 36 were brought to court on handcuffs.
