RUKUNGIRI- Parents have been urged to invest much in education if they want to give their children a bright and successful future.
These words were said by the Rubabo Constituency aspirant, Hon. Mujuni Lawrence Mpisi during the graduation ceremony of Top class pupils and fundraising at Kasheeshe Nursery and Primary School in Kasheeshe Parish, Buyanja Sub County in Rukungiri district.
Hon. Mpisi revealed to the parents that the only weapon that they can give to their children is education adding that children can destroy all the luxuries given to them by their parents but educating them will enlighten their future and even give them innovative ideas.
Twebaze Darius Rwamburara, the head teacher of Kasheeshe Nursery and Primary School lauded the founders of the school led by the family of the Late John Bakeine and the Catholic Church for the initiative of starting the school which has produced a big number of prominent people in the country.
He also lauded the parents and guardians of the school and the committees of the school for the cooperation and support that they have rendered to the school that has seen it develop to greater standards in terms of academia.
Twesigye Leo, the chairperson PTA acknowledged the heads of the school for the bond that they have built with the foundation bodies and the parents which has seen the school transform to the higher standards.
He also acknowledged the former leaders who lobbied funds from the Central Government for the renovation of the school revealing that the school was in a dilapidated state but now is amongst the model primary schools in the country.
