NEWS- Three members of the Nyarurambi PDM Sacco committee, located in Nyarurambi Ward, Rubanda Town Council, have been arrested for embezzling 500,000 shillings meant for sacco activities.
The arrested individuals are Habasa Julius, the secretary; Twinomuwhezi Godfrey, the chairman; and Doris, the treasurer.
According to Hillary Bindeba, the Assistant RDC of Rubanda District, the arrests were made after receiving complaints from sacco members accusing the three of misusing funds without their knowledge.
