NEWS- Hon Natukunda Midius Kaharata, the Rukungiri district Woman Member of Parliament has donated paint to Kigambo Prayer Centre Nyakibale in Eastern division Rukungiri Municipality to support them in refurbishment and beautification of their prayer centre.
The donation was delivered by her Political Assistant Clare Ainembabazi, who noted that as someone who always supports religious activities, Hon Natukunda responded to the call of the believers in this church who asked her for support towards painting their prayer centre.
In her message, Hon Midius Kaharata said it’s good to support God’s work so that people can always use a good place for fellowships and crusades and she fulfilled this pledge following the request she got from the leaders of Kigambo prayer centre Nyakibale.
Fred Mucunguzi, the Eastern Division District Councilor who doubles as the a leader of Christians at Kigambo prayer centre Nyakibale expressed gratitude to Hon Midius for the support because it was too expensive for them to purchase the whole paint that was needed for this role.
Mucunguzi added that the legislator supported them with window glasses to shut their church hence also calling upon other people to give them support to complete the construction of their worship centre.
This place was started in 2017 mainly to help them in organizing crusades as Nyakibale denary under Kabale diocese and receives people from all parts of Kigezi who gather to pray together and where God has responded to their prayers because miracles have been seen at the place like healing the sick.
Juliet Ayebazibwe on behalf of Christians who attended prayers at Kigambo prayer center said they have been raising money to refurbish and beautify their prayer center but now they have got relief after receiving a donation of paint to make their church better as a center of prayers.
