KASESE- Three people are in police custody at Kasese Central Police Station in Kasese District on charges of causing grievous harm.
The suspects are John Twihayo, LaheriMbambu, and Aron Kisabu who were arrested on Wednesday for participating in throwing a person (name withheld) into a pit latrine in Muhokya Town Council in Kasese district.
SP Nelson Tumushime, the Rwenzori East Police Spokesperson confirmed the development to the press and revealed that after the trio’s arrest, they were immediately brought to Kasese Central Police Station.
According to him, investigations are still underway and once they have been completed, the suspects would be arraigned in courts of law.
The Regional Police Mouthpiece commended the residents of Kasese for cooperating with police and other law enforcement agencies as far as reporting criminal activities is concerned.
